As a volunteer run charity we could not do the work without the help of our fabulous fundraisers who work hard to raise both funds and awareness for IIH UK, while sometimes taking on personal challenges at the same time.

Steven Jacob and 7 of his friends took part in an 18 hour long Darts Marathon at the Moreton Hall Community Centre in Bury St Edmunds raising an amazing £760

While raising awareness and taking care of her 14 your old son with IIH Sarah Jayne raised funds for IIH UK by doing a 3k x 30 day challenge.

Barbara Mason, Gillybob cakes and other helpers held another bric a brac stall at Shevington Fete raising £140 for IIH UK.


Barbara said when they have stalls, lots of people ask about the condition so it is really good for awareness and if you have one make sure to print the what is IIH leaflet from the website to hand out.

Could you do a sponsered silences? Well that is what Steph Munn did for IIH UK which was no easy task as Steph is known as the most talkative northwesterner at the IIH regional meet ups, plus on the day she was of course looking after her very supportive boys they had friends over for tea.

St Andres Coffee Morning

Thank you to the team at St Andrewa Parrish Centre who raised £211.02 during a coffee morning in aid of IIH UK on 26th June 2015.

A representative from the charity went along plus a sufferer and parent to show their support.

Thank you to Gillybobs cakes for donating this amazing brain shaped cake, which was auctioned at this years patient conference raising £20.
 Kerry Harbord Francis

Well done to Kerry Harbord Francis who ran the London 10K on the 25th May 2015 for IIH UK and finished with a time of 1:17.23.

Kerry took a knock on the way as you can see from the picture but completed and raised £157.23.


A HUGE Thank you to Emily Clarkson Web, you truly are a star!

When Emily turned 12 she donated her £47 birthday money to IIH UK.

Laura Mauchan an IIH sufferer took on the challenge of doing 5K x 50 days for IIH UK and raised £330.

Well done Laura for completing your challenge and in all weathers.


Thank You to Gillian Stephens who ran the Great Manchester 10K on Sunday 10th May 2015. She decided to do this as her best friend suffers from IIH.

Gillian raised over £500 for IIH UK.


Jane De Silva walked a massive 25 miles over the South Downs on the 9th May 2015 for IIH UK and raised £230.

In May 2015 Trend setters in Southampton showed off their green credentials when they recycled old and used fabrics for new clothes at a charity fashion show in aid of IIH UK.

Thank you to Mary Lydon and the Northampton Admin Centre of Nationwide Wide Building Society who held a dress down day and raised £150.


A massive Thank You to Val Burch, Sue and Peter Hughes. They held a fundraising event on the 24th January 2015 and raised a whopping £1530 for IIH UK.

Val's niece Elaine has IIH, she is pictured here with her brother and sister.




Lizzie said ‘I'm Running 5K for IIH UK because I want to help people like my mum to get better’. MumLizzie's 5K run Zoe said ‘she was such a brave little girl to complete the run on the Sunday morning as I was taken into hospital on Saturday and so was unable to run with her. Her Uncle Alex jumped in and drove up from Oxford to run with Lizzie, whilst her Dad and little brother cheered her on’.

Lizzie has raised £163 so far and Zoe hopes there may be more to come! A big thank you to Lizzie and her family.
